Naturally sweet and tart apricot filling with a hint of orzata (almond) in the classic buttery flaky crust .
Inspired by my childhood summers - drinking an ice-cold glass of Orzata (a sweet almond syrup mixed with water) and picking fruit from the trees with my Nonno (Apricots were one of my favourites—I have vivid memories of picking them right off the tree and eating them).
